How to make a personal website in 3 hours

Thus far, my website creation process (for joedefever.com) has gone relatively smoothly. My secret? Moonfruit.com. This site is comparable to the Kid Pix Studio of website making. I bought my domain name for $12 a year, worked on developing the pages, links, and content of my site, and within a few hours, was able to tell people to visit joedefever.com if they wanted to know more about my work/resume. Bam! I’d highly recommend Moonfruit if you’re trying to go for a simple, personal-style website. They have pre-designed templates for you to select, or you can work with a blank page and add things yourself, as I did. Tools and applications may take a bit of time to figure out, but once you do establish an understanding of how to use them, it’s like riding a bike–you’re not going to forget. Happy designing.

About defever

Con-mercialism. Money allows it to happen. Money given to penguin-dressed businesspeople choked so tightly by their neck ties that their brains can focus on nothing more than profit margins and sunday tee time with their gin-breathed client. Creative minds and strategic advertising act as the Batman and Robin to combat the droning and ubiquitous presence of corporate invasion on consumers' media. I am honored to serve on the heroic force that is taking away from the bullying, tormenting, killing you slowly inside form of advertising. This is a blog of my work, my opinions, and my ideas on the world of advertising. I'm not trying to change the game of advertising--I'm trying to change the sport.
